1. General Provisions

  • Eligibility: By using this website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or are accessing the site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

  • Account Responsibility: If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account details. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Product Information & Disclaimers

We take great care to ensure that the products on our website are described accurately. However, due to the nature of handloom silk and online retailing, please note the following:

  • Handloom Irregularities: Many of our products (especially Pure Mysore Silk and Kanjivarams) are hand-woven. Slight irregularities in the weave, texture, or zari work are characteristic of the artisanal process and are not considered defects.

  • Color Accuracy: We photograph our products in natural light to provide the most accurate representation possible. However, actual colors may vary slightly due to difference in screen resolution, brightness, and color calibration of your device. We do not guarantee that your monitor’s display of any color will be 100% accurate.

  • Silk Mark: Items labeled as “Pure Silk” are certified. Items labeled as “Art Silk,” “Mix Silk,” or “Semi-Silk” are synthetic or blended fabrics. Please read the product description carefully before purchasing.

3. Pricing and Payments

  • Currency: All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

  • Price Changes: Prices are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order will be the price current at the time of checkout.

  • Payment Gateways: We use secure third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, PhonePe). We do not store your banking or credit card information.

  • Errors: In the rare event of a pricing error (e.g., a saree priced at ₹0 due to a technical glitch), we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

4. Shipping and Delivery

  • Timeline: We aim to dispatch orders within 24-48 hours. Estimated delivery times are provided by our courier partners and are not guaranteed by us.

  • International Shipping: For orders shipped outside India, the customer is responsible for any Customs Duties, Import Taxes, or VAT levied by the destination country. Suryanis Silks has no control over these charges.

  • Risk of Loss: The risk of loss and title for items purchased pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Our policies regarding returns and refunds are governed by our separate [Return and Refund Policy].

  • Key Note: We do not accept returns for sarees where the blouse piece has been cut or where Fall/Pico has been done.

  • Cancellations: Orders can only be cancelled before they are shipped.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on www.suryanis.com, including but not limited to:

  • The Suryanis Silks logo and brand name;

  • Product photography and model images;

  • Website text, graphics, and design;

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Suryanis Silks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of:

  • The use or inability to use our website.

  • Delays in delivery caused by third-party couriers or Force Majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics).

  • Any unauthorized access to your data (despite our standard security measures).

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the use of the site or purchase of products is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Suryanis Silks, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
